Local dojo to focus on fitness

The Pan-African Shotokan Karate-Do Federation dojo will be hosting fitness classes starting in February.

With many people working hard to stick to their resolutions, shihan Michael Cindi and aerobic exercise instructor Mduduzi Kubeka are ready to help.
The Pan-African Shotokan Karate-Do Federation dojo has added fitness classes to focus on improved physical health.
The dojo intends to run weekly hour-long sessions to assist members with losing weight and maintaining a healthy body.
Cindi and Kubeka hope that by offering fitness classes they will encourage participants to feel the uplifting power of exercise on both the mind and body.
Classes are open to all, young and old. They meet on Wednesdays at 07:30, Thursdays from 13:00 to 14:00, and Fridays from 16:30 to 17:45.
On Sunday morning, there is only one lesson from 7:00 to 08:30.
The dojo is at the SPAR building on Nigel Road. For more information, contact Cindi on 073 212 9444.
