Old Crocks’ games continue on Sunday

Tsakani – Old Crocks continued to battle it out on Sunday at the Malandela Ground in their Tavern league.

The teams are now joined by Bister Tavern, replacing Moses Tavern who, according to the tournament founder, Nhlanhla Kumalo, pulled out of the competition due to internal squabbles.

The results are:

• Masgodi Sweepers 4 – 2 Etshanini Tavern
• Jacob’s Tavern 0 – 3 Mhlongo’s MM
• Mhlanga’s Tavern 5 – 0 Bister’s Tavern
• Madisenkeng 5 – 4 Lettia’s Inn
• Bafana Bafana 1 – 0 Beccers Inn

The teams will have a relaxing session after the games.

Kumalo said they are continuing with rotating among different recreational venues so that they may get to grow and support each other.

The games will continue on Sunday.
