Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates supporters call for discipline at the upcoming derby match

Who will win the upcoming Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates?

Kwatsaduza – As the two Soweto soccer giants – Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates – prepare to lock horns at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, supporters are urged to exercise restraint at the stadium.

This is after Kaizer Chiefs supporters threw objects on the soccer pitch, demanding Arthur Zwane resign with immediate effect, following their 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows on Sunday.

This was Zwane’s eighth DStv Premiership loss since taking on the responsibility as the head coach.
With 10 games remaining, the team is fifth on the log.

Kaizer Chiefs supporter Teka Matsepane said though the supporters are disappointed in the deteriorating quality of play by the team, they should always exercise restraint.

“There are different platforms to raise our grievances, which include through branches, and escalation to region and province. We should allow Zwane and his team the opportunity to rebuild the team and find their form,” he added.

Matsapane said he expected the team to be in excellent form to win the game.

Orlando Pirates supporter Rangwane Makgabutlane said he is expecting a 2-1 win.

“The downside to us winning this match might lead to Zwane losing his job. It would be an unfortunate turn of events, but we have to show Kaizer Chiefs that we are still a winning team,” he added.
Kick-off is at 15:30
