Join Kwa-Thema Striders Athletics Club

Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Striders Athletics Club (KTSAC) are back on the road, working hard for the 2023 running calendar.

The team recently participated in the Kaapsehoop (Mbombela), and the Soweto and Jacaranda marathons.

Maruping Kodisang said these are part of preparations for a series of marathons and ultra-marathons scheduled for 2023.

“The ultra-marathon was put on halt due to the long break because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Major events for the coming year include the Two Oceans Marathon on April 15 and 16 and the Comrades Marathon on June 11,” he added.

Maruping encourages members of the public, keen to either walk or run, to join the team for a healthy lifestyle.
