Langaville – Local football clubs are invited to register for the upcoming Langaville Festive soccer tournament for juniors.
The sporting event will take place from December 3 to 17 at Langaville Ext Six Sports Ground, hosted by Three for Joy Football Club.
Registration opened on October 5 and will run until December 2.
The coach for Three for Joy FC, Bongani Motaung, is urging clubs to register.
“The tournament will benefit young players in the area.
“This is our attempt to create more recreational activities for young people, especially during the festive season.
“We all know this is the time where children are home and in most cases have nothing constructive to do,” he said.

This will be the first time the club hosts such a tournament after it was established in 2018.
Motaung said the tournament will help keep children off the streets.
Interested clubs can register their U11s, U13s and U15s.
The affiliation fee for U11 is R120, R180 for U13 and R200 for U15.
Prizes for the winning clubs will consist of trophies and medals.
