Home Sweepers playing at home this Sunday

Support the local team this Sunday at Kwa-Thema Stadium.

Kwa-Thema – Springs Home Sweepers FC women’s team will be up against Mathaithai FC on Sunday for the Sasol League at Kwa-Thema Stadium.
The match will start at 15:00.
The local team is currently sitting in position five on the log and the opponents are at number two.
The team’s technical director, Mkhonza Mkhonzana, said it is important that they win the upcoming game.
“We have played three games thus far and have only won one.
“The game on Sunday will be our fourth match and we need to win it to move up the log.
“If we lose it means we remain in position five.
“Our goal is to do better than we did last year,” he explained.
The league is the decider for all the women’s national teams.
Winners from each province compete to be promoted to the National Hollywood League.

“We are inviting fans to come and the community at large to come and support us.
“Their support can make the biggest difference in how the game unfolds.
“This game is important to us,” said Mkhonzana.
Their first game was played at Fiat Stadium in Soweto against Diepkloof Ladies where they lost by three points to one.
The team still reiterates the issue of age, as they have players as young as 12 playing against players in their early 20s.
And as such, they are encouraging female players to join their team.
Dedicated individuals from the age of 12 to 20 can join the team.
Those interested may call Mkhonzana on 081 371 4011.
