Kwa-Thema – The weekend-long cold and rainy weather have affected the ongoing Springs LFA holiday tournament.
The games started last month, seeing the u-11, 13, 16 and 17 teams putting their best boots on to make it to the finals set for April 30.
Coach Mkhonza Mkhonzana said because of the bad weather, they decided to cancel all the scheduled games from Friday.

“We could not risk the players’ health by forcing the games to go ahead as scheduled. We will meet up as the LFA and decide on the new fixtures soon,” he explained.
The young players are also fighting to be crowned as the best defender, mid-fielder and goalkeeper, with medals and awards up for grabs.
Teams that are going to make it to the finals will walk away with a new soccer kit.
