Club prepares for tournament

The club is preparing to compete in the Gauteng East Tennis Association tournament that will take place on September 25.

Kwa-Thema – Sparks Tennis Club is back at training.
The club recently resumed training following a month without practice or participation due to lockdown restrictions.
On Monday, it held a full day practice at Kwa-Thema Tennis Court.

Head coach Moses Ngwenya said the club is preparing to compete in the Gauteng East Tennis Association tournament that will take place on September 25.
“It feels good to be back on the court and together again.
“Today, we started with our fitness training programme, which was well-received by our players.

Sparks Tennis Club held a full day of tennis practice on Monday at Kwa-Thema Tennis Court.

“The resumption of practice is important as the players prepare to compete,” he said.
Players remain enthusiastic and hopeful as they look forward to making a comeback on the court.
Ngwenya added that the club lost plenty of time due to the lockdown.
