“Usually, people put their money where they know they’ll make a profit.
“I decided to take the money and sponsor this tournament so we can improve sports in our kasi.
“I’m challenging everyone to be part of building and training our boys through soccer.
“When you plant a seed and take care of it, it will grow into a plant that will yield the fruits you want.
“We must teach them so they can grow to take care of those who come after them.
“The R10 000 prize to the player of the tournament is just for motivation so youngsters can take soccer seriously,” said GPM CEO Nhlanhla Msomi.

The tournament has amazing prizes up for grabs.

The Juluka 11 tournaments are now going to be held yearly.
Lucky ‘Juluka’ Mahlangu, the founder of the Juluka 11 Foundation, said: “I am looking forward to the tournament. All Covid-19 regulations will be adhered to.
“The reason I organised this tournament is because I want to bring back the glory days of Tlakula Ground.
“The ground produced several professional soccer players. It is our legacy.
“I want to produce professional players that will one day represent Kwatsaduza nationally and South Africa internationally.
“Kwa-Thema should be brought back to the soccer map, and I will make sure of that.”
