Team has plans to win the league

The local giants took on Nicko Taurus FC on Saturday at Kwa-Thema Stadium, which resulted in a 2-2 score.

Kwa-Thema – Springs Home Sweepers Academy played to a draw during their appearance for the Sasol League.

This is the third appearance for the team since the beginning of the league.

“We still have 27 games left; therefore, we have a lot to work towards and accomplish.
“At the beginning, the girls played quite well. However, a couple of mistakes towards the end saw our opponents equalising.
“I understand this is all part of learning, as we all make mistakes,” said head coach Mkhonza Mkhonzana.
The league comprises 144 teams that compete within the nine provinces.
During the league, talent scouts select the best players for the country’s women’s national team, Banyana Banyana.

“This season we are determined to win the league.
“Everything from this point going forward will go towards improvement, discipline and lots of goals,” he said.
Their next game will be this Saturday in Soshanguve against Hallelujah Zebra Force.
The team is looking for coaches and first-aiders to assist the u-13, u-17 and u-19 boys’ teams, which are competing in the Gauteng Development League.
