Pirates supporters predict a win against Chiefs

“They just need new players to revive the team, and until the ban to buy and sell players has been lifted the coach can’t perform miracles."

Local Orlando Pirates supporters say their team will mob Kaizer Chiefs through FNB Stadium during the much-anticipated derby this weekend.
The two Soweto giants will lock horns on Sunday at 3pm.
The Glamour Boys are in position 11 in the DStv Premiership.
They have pocketed 20 points from 18 games they have played, while Pirates are in third place with 35 points after 20 matches played.
Local supporter Rangwane Makgabutlane said they will use their opponent’s weaknesses to their advantage.

“We are anticipating a 3-0 win against them.
“Kaizer Chiefs supporters shouldn’t blame the coach, Gavin Hunt, for their team’s poor performance.
“They just need new players to revive the team, and until the ban to buy or sell players has been lifted the coach can’t perform miracles,” said Makgabutlane.
The team was punished by Fifa in December for the signing of Malagasy player Andriamirado Aro Hasina Andrianamimanana.
The player was still under contract with Fosa Juniors FC in Madagascar when he signed for Kaizer Chiefs.
“The team is breathing through the wounds and this will drag until the ban is lifted in June, but we will capitalise on it,” he said.

Makgabutlane congratulated the appointed chairperson of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe.
“I am proud as a football fanatic to see someone from South Africa elevated to that position.
“It gives us hope that there will be changes in African football and someone from our soil is in the active position to see to the changes,” he added.
