NPO aims to bring sport back

The organisation was established early last year by Ward 79 sport coordinator Eddie Modjadji.

Kwatsaduza – The Eddiemain Sport Development Centre is calling on learners and youth to sign up to partake in their sport development programmes.

The NPO was established early last year by Ward 79 sport coordinator Eddie Modjadji.
“Our goal is to revive different sporting codes in Kwatsaduza, where each individual can fully enjoy their chosen sport.
“We are planning to partner with the department of education to introduce this programme in schools,” he said.
The programme is set to include soccer, netball, karate, golf, rugby, tennis and cricket.

“Facilities are available but are not being used as they should be, to a point where some of these structures are being vandalised and deteriorating,” he added.
The programme was initially meant to have started last year.
“Parents can register their children with us from Monday to Friday at 8am to 6pm.
“Anyone from the age of seven to 19 is more than welcome to join.
“I would like to urge parents to become involved in their children’s interest and support us going forward,” stated Modjadji.
