Weather conditions pose challenges for local teams

According to the league administrator Votile Jack the games were initially scheduled for December 8.

Tsakane – The Brakpan Local Football Association held replay fixtures on January 11, ahead of their upcoming 2019/2020 super league.

Simunye FC 2-1 played against Rekaofela Express at Extension 15 ground in Tsakane, Bolivia FC 2-2 against Amazababa FC at Malandela Ground.

According to the league administrator Votile Jack the games were initially scheduled for December 8.

“These two matches were officially scheduled for December 8, but due to bad weather conditions at the time, along with the heavy rain they had to be postponed,” says Jack.

Venue for the matches had to be changed due to bad pitch conditions at Mamellong Comprehensive School.

“We were forced to move the games to Ext 15 and Malandela ground because the pitch was wet and would have posed challenges for the players,” he adds.

The next matches will take place on Friday. African Stars will take on Alexandra Black Aces at Tsakane Stadium from 4pm and Kathrous Hyper Academy will clash against Amazababa FC at Tsakane Stadium from 6pm.

Games scheduled for Saturday will start from 9am at Malandela Ground, Langaville and Ext 22 ground.
