Sasol National Championship Women’s League to be played in Tsakane
This marks the first time the tournament is being played in the Gauteng province.
Tsakane – Tsakane Stadium is the official host of the Sasol National Championship Women’s League which kicked off on December 3.
This marks the first time the tournament is being played in the Gauteng province.
Nine teams from all nine provinces will be partaking in the tournament.

Representing Gauteng will be the JVW Football Club.
JVW striker Amanda Dlamini says: “We are excited to be representing Gauteng; people can expect exciting and entertaining football.
“I hope the tournament inspires young girls who have a passion to play soccer to actually follow their dreams and that parents support their children.”
Tournament spokesperson Thomas Sadiki says the community should come out in numbers to support the tournament and support women’s football.
“This is the first time Gauteng is hosting this tournament and we would like to encourage the community to come and support.
“We bring the game to the people with the aim to inspire, motivate and entertain.

“Women’s football is very interesting and entertaining,” says Sadiki.
Winners will receive a R200 000 prize and first and second positions will be promoted to the Safa Women’s League.
