Victorious Netball Team takes first position in league
Victorious Netball Team won the league after beating Rising Eagles 14-12.
Tsakane – Community members gathered at the Tsakane Stadium on Saturday to watch the finale of the u-13 Tsakane Netball League.

Rising Eagles took second place.

In third place were Maestro, who won by 16 points against Tomorrow Angeles.
All the teams which participated received medals.
The league was established on April 28 as a means of keeping children off the streets.
“We are extremely proud of the progress we have made this year, but we are looking to do so much better next year in terms of having more teams and finding sponsors, especially for the kit and bibs,” says league chairperson Matshidiso Silinda.

Local teams are urged to come on board when the league opens next year.
Victorious Netball Team coach Thembisile Nhlapo says: “Because we only started this year, we just want to get bigger and better and hopefully the community at large will realise the importance of having such leagues locally and start to show support.”
