Brakpan league ends with a bang

Tsakane – The Brakpan Local Football Association Juniors League came to an end with a bang.

Tsakane Stadium was filled with local supporters to watch the nail-baiting end of season play-offs.

In the u-11 category, third-place Maestro Stars beat Chicago Masters 4-3 on penalties, Junior Rabbits won the league 5-4 against Yebo Yes Academy on penalties.

For the u-13s, third-place AC Milan played to a 1-1 draw then won on penalties by 7-6 against Junior Rabbits.

Bazingeli Rovers took the second position, with The Hour Stars taking the title with a 6-3 win against the Rovers. Junior Rabbits u-13s are third on the log following a loss of 4-5 on penalties against Abashwe Football Club, second place is Maestro Stars and title holders are Bazingeli Rovers who won on penalties with 5-4 following a 1-1 draw. For the u-17s, The Tycoons beat Black Stars 5-1 to claim the third spot; in the finale Tjovitjo Football Club lost 1-0 to Maestro Stars.

According to the EK FM Sports Front host and BLFA administration officer, Jack Votile, the committee will be hosting sports awards on December 1.
