KwaThema – Rugby fans in KwaThema were spoiled to a good game on Saturday at the KwaThema Sports Complex on Saturday.

Tsakane Rugby Club played to a win 59-5 against Rust-Te-Vaal Rugby Club.

Tsakane Rugby Club scored 9 trials while their losing opponents scored 8 trials at the end of the 80 minutes game.

Tsakane Rugby Club coach Tebogo Mochabo says he is proud of the performance of his players since the beginning of the season.

“They have executed all that I taught them during practice matches and the changes that they needed to make towards dominating the game.

“The team has played 10 games in the league and they are holding on to position one of the UESHE League.

“This gives us faith that we might just walk away as the champion of the season.

Tsakane Rugby Club lashed Rust-Te-Vaal Rugby Club 59-5.

Tebogo says he appreciates the continuous support of the community and the fans who attend their games.

“We would not be able to succeed without their support. Even when we are playing away games we have our regular supporters joining us,” he says.

In celebration of the win the fans and reserves marched on the pitch in celebration of the win.
