Local team branches tackle each other

Even though they lost the game, Tebogo Phalane remained positive and excited about the future. “Win or lose we remain one. We are all here for the love of the game and to form meaningful friendships.”

 

The Kaizer Chiefs supporters from different branches came together to promote good sportsmanship and an outreach programme.

Marketing officer for the Langaville branch Oliver Mphahlele explained that this was merely to unite the branches, “we have been experiencing much division and lots of challenges lately so we thought this was a good idea to bring the branches together for a day of good football”, says Mphahlele which resulted in Katlehong claiming a 2-1 victory.

Tshepo Mokone, a player from the Katlehong branch, said: “Today is about fun, promoting good health and coming together as Amakhosi family.”
