Tsakane – The Brakpan Football Association held their weekend matches where Bazingeli Rovers and Verbal Warning made it rain with goals, each scoring six goals to their victory.
These victories solidified both their place at the top of the log with Bazingeli leading the pack.
The two teams came from a 3-3 draw with each other in the previous weekend.
Votile Jack of the football association says, “The top of the stream A-table is very tight because the top three teams are gunning for the championship.
“Elco Santos won it last year, while Verbal Warning was second, so Verbal Warning has something to fight for.
“Bazingeli beat Santos 5-0 in the first round, so in their coming match this weekend they have a score to settle, which will be interesting to see.”
The bottom of the stream A-log had a slight change with Rekaofela Express narrowly escaping the bottom two with a 2-1 win over the Maestro Stars.
This comes after the Stars thrashed Simunye FC with a score of 5-1 in the previous week.

In stream B, only five of the eight matches were played because the grounds were either muddy or waterlogged.
Jack says, “These matches will be played on Saturday the 23rd to make up for them having been missed the previous week.”
Log leaders Black Stars bounced back from a 2-2 draw last week with a 10-0 victory over the Tsakane Rangers.
“Black Stars is a former champion who left the league and are now back holding the top spot on the log.
“Their next game is against TBOESA, who are second on the log, so this game will determine whether the Stars keep their place at the top and extend their lead or if TBOESA will take the lead,” Jack explains.
There were no draws in the other matches as Bolivia FC won 6-1 against the Birds and the Real Heros beat Samba Youth Development.
The Tsakane Dynamos lost to Magic 10 Academy with a score of 2-3 and the Junior Sky Birds secured a 2-0 victory against the Tsakane Dynamos.

Jack has asked for more unity between the coaches so they can better deal with unruly players.
“There are ill-disciplined players who give the referees problems and because there is no unity between the coaches the referees are not able to raise these issues with them,” he says.
