Preparations for the Defy Ekurhuleni Games underway and teams from and around the area are invited to register to participate.
The closing date to register for the games taking place from December 16 to 30 is approaching and the teams are urged to book their spot.
The annual festive games will be played under the theme Celebrating the Legacy of Nelson Mandela through Sport.
The games will take place at KwaThema Sports Complex and Stadium.

The activities include boxing, netball and soccer for males and females.
Junior teams, u-13 and u-15, are also invited to participate in this year’s games.
The registration fees and age categories for the games vary from one sport to the other.
“Please note that only u-11 and u-15 men’s soccer teams from Springs, Nigel and Brakpan LFA’s will be allowed to participate in the tournament.
