Shotokan learners shine in Durban

Tsakane karate students compete in Durban.

Tsakane – Short & Sweet Shotokan Karate Institute SA learners went to Durban for a Team Challenge Tournament organised by Shotokan Karate International South Africa.

They were competing against other learners in the province.

The president of karate Sonny Pillay congratulated the learners for being part of the best performers in the tournament.

The club’s coach Sensei Jackson Mabuza says he is proud of how the learners performed and how they were able to outshine other participants in the tournament.

He further thanks the parents for trusting him as well as their children. He encourages them to continue supporting their children.

They meet at Buhlebemfundo Secondary school, Monday and Tuesday 5pm to 6pm.
