Athletes invited to participate in trials

KwaThema – Ulinda Athletics is calling on athletes in the area to participate in their trials to be held on Sunday.

The club is affiliated to Central Gauteng Athletics and provides sporting activities which include road running, race walking, track and field races as well as cross-country.

Madala Nkuna says they have partnered with City of Ekurhuleni’s Department of Sports and Recreation, through Project 2022.

“Through this initiative we seek to identify, recruit and develop talented athletes.

“We encourage those with potential from age eight upwards to be part of our development team.

“This will enable and prepare them to compete at national and international levels.

“It will also accelerate their development because they will have qualified coaches who are dedicated to helping them become better in the field of athletics.

Interested athletes are invited to attend trials in the following disciplines:
