Soccer players invited to participate in Valencia FC trials
Soccer players from in and around KwaThema are invited to participate in the upcoming Valencia soccer trials.
KwaThema – Valencia Football Club is inviting soccer players who would like to join the team to attend their upcoming trials.
Young players who were born on or after 1 January 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 are invited.
Springs Local Football Association secretary, Ace Mashalaba, says the trials will be hosted on July 16 from 10am at the KwaThema Stadium.
“Those interested players are welcome and urged to bring along their own playing/training kit.
“Players are also requested to keep time and bring their ID, passport or original birth certificate.
“Valencia Football Club is ready and prepared to give everyone a fair opportunity to showcase his talent.
“Age cheating will not be tolerated and those found will be disqualified.
“We request all its affiliates to support this initiative and send their players,” he says.
Ace adds they are calling to the community members and parents to attend the trials to support the young players.
“This will help build momentum and encourage the players to showcase their skills on the field to the best of their ability.
“Remember we are working hard to keep these boys away from the streets and encourage them to fight against substance abuse,” he concluded.
