Another fun-filled soccer experience

KwaThema - Local football lovers were treated to a good football match between Lusitano FC and Reedville United on Sunday afternoon, at the KwaThema Mini-sports complex.

The teams played at the KwaThema Stadium and KwaThema Mini-sports Complex on Saturday and Sunday.

The two teams displayed battled it out on the field, showcasing their skills.

Lusitano FC won 3-2, thereby moving into position five on the log with 56 points, while Reedville is in position seven with 47 points.

In other games, Boca Juniors FC played to a 2-0 win against Young Masters FC.

Nkele Smiling Bees, who are in position 8 on the log, lost 2-4 to Happy Angels FC.

Springs Home Sweepers FC LOST 1-2 to Tornado Lions FC.

Down Town FC lost 0-2 to Valencia FC.

Sanders United FC played to a 3-0 win against Nkele Smiling Bees FC.

ABC FC humiliated Eleven Experience with a 7-2 win.

Happy Angels FC played to a 2-0 win against Young Masters.

The log leaders are Tornado Lions FC with 71 points, followed by Springs Home Sweepers FC with 65 points.

The Home defenders are hogging the bottom of the log.

Ace Mashalaba has encouraged community members to support local sports initiatives.

“This helps the players to gain momentum and motivation to excel in sport,” he says.
