“They walked away with 12 medals – seven golds, one silver and four bronze medals.

“The senior team was represented by four members, who walked away with six medals.

“They received two gold medals, three silvers and one bronze,” he says.

Justice says they are proud of the team for representing KwaThema so well.

“Their dedication and determination will help encourage their peers to also participate in the sport,” he says.

Justice says they are urging parents to allow their children to participate in sports.

“This is the place where they are kept busy after school and on weekends.

“They should remember that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

“When they have too much free time they will end up taking part in crime and taking drugs.

“Sports also contribute to fighting crime and other social ills,” he says.
