‘It’s only a game’

KwaThema - Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates number one supporters from the Langaville branch are calling for good behaviour at the stadium ahead of the league game on the weekend.

The two teams will be playing the league game at the FNB stadium on Saturday.

The two chairpersons in their branches say that – win or lose – the supporters must refrain from throwing stones and bottles on the pitch or attacking the players.

“It is only a game and there must be a winner at the end of the game.

Kaizer Chiefs supporter Teko Matsepane says that they are ready to beat Pirates 2: 1.

“We have all the stars who will be ready to defend in the back line.”

He says that even though Pirates has been losing a lot of games, Kaizer Chiefs players must not relax on the field.

“The players must be careful of Tendai Ndoro.

“They must also close left and right back for Pirates not to be able to attack – in this way we will be able to beat them,” he says.

Pirates supporter Rangwane Makgabutlane says that even though their team has been winning they are hoping that the new coach will improve matters.

“We are hoping that he will bring the team into shape especially after the draw with Polokwane City on the weekend.

“This is a good sign that he is on the right track to saving the team,” he says.

“The players seem to lack morale and motivation.

“They need to start focusing on the game and play as a team,” he says.

The fans who want to go the stadium are invited to meet at the Pick n Pay in Langaville at 11am.
