Local team needs more soccer coaches

KwaThema – The management of local soccer team, Springs Home Sweepers Football Club, is still inviting locals who have an interested in coaching to join them.

Managing director of Home Sweepers Mkhonzana Mkhonza, says this is so each of its teams can have enough people to coach them.

The club is comprised of eight divisions, which include three girls’ teams and five boys’ teams, but only have four coaches.

They have u/11, u/13, u/15 boys and girls, u/17 boys and girls, Sasol League girls’ team and a premier boys’ team.

“We would love each of these divisions to at least have two or three coaching staff,” he says.

Requirements for all people who are interested in the opportunity are:

• They can be men or women of any age.

• Coaches should be non-smokers.

• The individuals should be disciplined and committed.

• They must be willing to learn and attend workshops.

• Candidates must also be open-minded and have knowledge of the sport.
