Defy Ekurhuleni Games kick-off

Kwatsaduza - The Defy Ekurhuleni Games kick-off at the KwaThema Sports Complex on December 16 and locals are invited to support.

According to one of the organisers Don Nhlapho, a total of 32 teams have registered to participate in this tournament, which promises to be an extravaganza filled with a lot of excitement.

“There’ll be a lot of activities including sports and entertainment, with some of the local dancers and musicians such as Skipper and Gearbox among others, to attract fans with their performances and dances.

“Scouts from different Premier League teams will also be attending, to scout for talent during the games.

“We’ll also have Future Champs from Spain and Holland on December 28, who’ll be conducting their talent scouting for the u/13 to u/16 age groups at KwaThema,” he says.

Young soccer players who’re interested in participating on December 28, are requested to take appropriate training gear with them.

Then, during the finals to take place on December 30, Nhlapho says the first 1000 fans to go through the KwaThema Stadium gates, will receive free t-shirts and there’ll be lots of prize giveaways on the day, through a raffle that’ll be conducted during the finals.
