Soweto derby this Saturday

Kwatsaduza – Following Sundowns' win of the CAF Champions League title on Sunday, on soccer supporters lips this week is the Soweto Derby between Amakhosi and the Buccaneers.

The two Soweto giants will go head to head in a Premier Soccer League match on Saturday afternoon at the FNB Stadium.

And supporters of either side are eagerly waiting for the moment when their team will come out victorious.

Soccer lover Mabhayi Busisiwe Maseko says Kaizer Chiefs are well prepared for the game and predicts a score of 1-0.

“Our coach Steven Komphela is now able to set up our team properly, as he knows the boys and their strength.

“We are therefore very confident that our team is well trained to win this match and take the league title,” she says.

Kaizer Chiefs supporters from the Nigel Branch going to the stadium, will meet at Duduza 15 Rank, where transport will leave at 10am.

Teka Matsepane of Amakhosi congratulates Sundowns for their sterling performing in the CAF competition.

And as for their competition against the Buccaneers, he says he is confident his team will win.

“Kaizer Chiefs will beat Orlando Pirates 2-0.

“They must watch out because we are unstoppable, especially since we have won five games in a row,” he adds.

The Langaville branch will depart from the shopping centre near the Duduza Rank at 10am.

On the opposition side, Rangwane Makgabutlane of Orlando Pirates says: “This game will show that we are on track as this is not the old Pirates.

“We have new players and a new coach and unfortunately for Kaizer Chiefs, we plan to give them a hiding of 2-0,” he says.

Pirates supporters will leave from Marothi’s Place in KwaThema, at Ramothibe Street at 10am.
