Amazozo beat Vaal Professionals

African All Stars trounced Vaal Professionals 2-1 in the ABC Motsepe League match, last Friday.

Playing in the Vaal area, the local team repaid their opposition by beating them at home, as they did a few weeks ago.

As they are not new to each other’s playing skills, the match proved to be challenging and both sides wanted to register the first goal, to take the lead.

The home side scored their only goal of the match through a brilliant free kick, but Sandile Mdluli, of African All Stars, didn’t waste any time, equalising before the end of the first half.

Going into the second stanza, one would think Vaal would come out guns blazing, in an attempt to redeem themselves after their poor play in the first half.

However, without wasting any time and taking advantage of their opposition’s poor formation, Andile Foto scored the second goal for African All Stars, putting them in the lead.

During the rest of the game, Vaal tried to equalise, to no avail, ending the game with a 2-1 win for local team African All Stars.

African All Stars will take on former PSL side Black Aces this Friday, at the Tsakane Stadium. Kick-off will be at 7pm.
