Played at their home ground, Tsakane Stadium, last Friday, the Amazozo couldn’t find their feet in the match.
It was disappointing for the spectators who were packed to the lines to watch one of the greatest teams with skilled players to come out of Kwatsaduza. Many left the stadium without jubilation.
Right from the beginning of the match, Orange Vaal had a plan to execute, especially aware of the danger Amazozo pose playing on their home ground; they never left a chance for goal opportunities.
The first stanza was lukewarm as both sides were out on the defence as opposed to getting closer to the goal scoring box, ending in a goalless half.
A bit of momentum was shown in the second half when Orange Vaal dominated the ball possession; proving they wanted the win more than the home side.
After much movement made around the goal scoring area of Amazozo, Orange Vaal nabbed their first and only goal of the match leaving the rest of the match a blur as Amazozo players relentlessly attempted to equalise before the game came to an end.
