Springs Home Sweepers take three points
KwaThema – The Springs Home Sweepers girls' team walked away with three points on Saturday.
This comes after the local side was set to take on opponents Soweto Fabulous in a Sasol League match at the KwaThema Stadium.
“Due to some transportation issues, however, the Soweto players did not reach the stadium though their officials were present on the day.
“The no-show of the other team technically means that our girls walk away with three points in hand,” says Springs Home Sweepers managing director Mkhonzana Mkhonza.
He adds that the Springs Home Sweepers team will play their next Sasol League match on October 15 against Vaal University of Technology.
The game will be played at 1pm at the KwaThema Stadium.
