Bolton come out victorious

KwaThema –While the Springs Local Football League is having a break, clubs affiliated to the league are keeping their players fit by playing friendly matches against each other.

On Saturday, Bolton thrashed Focus FA 4-0 in their friendly match at the KwaThema Sports Complex, where a quarrel also took place after the Focus FA coach accused Bolton of foul play, for having much older players.

In as much as the u/13 match was a friendly, players from both sides remembered that it was still a competition.

In the first stanza, both sides took their time to build momentum.

A few minutes into the game it was evident that Bolton was a much stronger side, as they dribbled their opponents with ease.

Bolton’s Thato Mokoena and Kamogelo Mashele managed to register the first and second goals for their team.

Going into the second half, Focus FA felt the pressure more as Bolton changed players.

Right through the second half Bolton dominated ball position and had the most shots on target.

Bolton’s Lehlogonolo Tsotetsi and Lesego Motimela scored the third and fourth goals for their side, ending the match on a disappointing 4-0 for Focus FA.
