Springs Home Sweepers lose friendly match

KwaThema – Bolton Villa took on the Springs Home Sweepers in a friendly match on Saturday.

The two u/11 local teams competed at the KwaThema Sports Complex.

Within 30 minutes of the first half, Lwazi Nthangasi (9) of Bolton Villa put his team in the lead with the opening goal.

The two sides continued to battle, creating opportunities to score which did not materialise.

This left the score sheet unchanged at half time and the score remained at 1-0.

When the teams came into the second half, Springs Home Sweepers had to work twice as hard to defend and attack, but Bolton seemed to be smooth operators on the field.

They created numerous chances for themselves and Siyabonga Motsweni (9) was able to strike in a second goal for his side.

This lead Bolton Villa to walk away victorious.
