This is so each of its teams can have two or three coaches each.
According to managing director of Home Sweepers, Mkhonzana Mkhonza currently the team has eight divisions, which comprises of three girls’ teams and five boys’ teams, but only have four coaches.
“We have u/11, u/13, u/15 boys and girls, u/17 boys and girls, Sasol League girls’ team and a premier boys’ team.
“Therefore the number of coaches we have is not enough, which is why we need more manpower,” he says.
Requirements for all people who are interested in the opportunity are:
- They can be men or women of any age.
- Coaches should be non-smokers.
- The individuals should be disciplined and committed.
- They must be willing to learn and attend workshops.
- Candidates must also be open-minded and have knowledge of the sport.
Mkhonza adds that the candidates should be prepared as the will be called in for interviews.
