Abafana Bes’Thende lose
KwaThema – Abafana Bes’Thende battled it out in a Five-a-Side League match against Nkathazo, with both teams hungry for three points.
The sides competed for the win at the KwaThema Sports Complex, on Saturday.
The fast-paced match saw Nkathazo causing trouble for their opponents and, within a few minutes into the first half, Sphiwe Mkhize (20) had scored the opening goal for the side.
Then, shortly after, before half time, Thomas Msibi (22) scored the second goal, extending the lead for his team.
Fifteen minutes into the second half and both team were fighting hard for goals, but Nkathazo caused more trouble, which drove the opposition to defend even harder.
Chris Masinga (21), of Nkathazo, got in another goal, which put his side at 3-0.
Abafana Besthende attempted to come back into the game, but failed to use their chances.
This saw the game ending with a 3-0 victory for Nkathazo.
