Razoo finish in style

Duduza - Razoo FC are the 2015/16 Nigel Local Football League (NLFL) champions.

The newly formed team which made its debut in the league in 2015 showed immense potential and great soccer skills by winning the league first time around.

Spectators came in their numbers to support Razoo and see them to victory in their final league match against Vision Masters at the Duduza Stadium.

Vision Masters shamed the champions with a 1-0 score, placing them in position three in the league.

The match was intense as Vision Masters wanted to shame the much followed football team, even though they would not claim the champion status.

Finishing in third position, Vision Masters put up a fight throughout the match.

Being the NLFL champions, Razoo will be heading for trial matches to be promoted to the SAB League in the next season.

Marketing director of the league, Mkhithika Tshabalala says they are excited that a team from Duduza will have an opportunity to trial to be in the SAB League.

“We are proud of the team, because they have proven throughout the season that they are hungry and ready to play football at another level,” Tshabalala explains.

He also encourages football fans to go out and support Razoo during their trial matches, which will be held in Germiston Stadium on June 25 and 26.

“We need the moral support so our players may go out there and represent knowing they have a strong support structure from the community,” he adds.
