Home Sweepers win

KwaThema – Pretoria team Pull Together suffered a 1-0 loss against Springs Home Sweepers in the Sasol Women’s League, played at the KwaThema Stadium last Sunday.

The home side beat the visiting team 1-0 in what proved to be a tough match.

In the first stanza the home side, Springs Home Sweepers, seemed more confident about the match as they showed off their football technique.

The match slowly gained momentum when Put Together started fighting back for ball possession.

Going into the second stanza the home side came in with a waterproof plan to silence Put Together supporters.

After a goalless first half, Springs Home Sweepers’ Vuyo Mkhabela registered the first goal for her team, putting their opponents under pressure.

It was war thereafter as the Pretoria team fought tooth and nail to get an equaliser, but to their dismay, Home Sweepers made it impossible for them to get the ball past the goalkeeper.

The match ended with a 1-0 win for Springs Home Sweepers.
