Tsakane boxers excel
Tsakane – Total Success Boxing Club have come back home victorious after showing off brilliant skills in a boxing tournament they attended in Springs over the weekend.
Out of the 10 boxers who were initially taken to fight at the Bert Collins Boxing Tournament, only two boxers could participate since there were not enough clubs present on the day, explains coach Lwazi Xundu.
“The tournament was a success for our two boxers who did manage to fight Both won their matches.
“Zulu Nhlanhla (17) fought in the bantamweight division while Gibson Luvhimbi (22) fought in the lightweight division, and both of them won on points,” he says.
Xundu adds that he is very happy and proud of the boys for their performance as they prepared hard for the fights and knew they were going to win.
The club’s boxers are well on their way to achieving their goals of success and are now preparing for another tournament which will be held over the weekend at the Alberton Boxing Club, where the same group will present them.
