Technical director Innocent Mayoyo says this is a huge achievement for the players who have done well during the season and their hard work is starting to pay off.
“This is exactly what I’m working for; for local players to get opportunities to go play for Premier League clubs and move on to play internationally.
“It gives me great joy to see that my efforts to uplift local football is paying off and players are now recognised in the football fraternity,”he explains.
The four players are Oscar Metula, Mandla Mthimunye, Ongeziwe Dolwana and Lucky Stevens.
Mthimunye further says he is ecstatic that he has been granted this opportunity which will open many doors him.
“All that is left is for us to do our level best on the pitch and represent our community,” says the player.
Team coach, Jabulani Ngwenya says he is very proud of the four players, especially that he has watched them grow into esteemed players who are now ready to play in the Premier Soccer League.
Mayoyo and Ngwenya say they are fully behind the players and wish them well during the trials.
