A win for Dovola United
Geluksdal – Dovola United beat Brakpan Spurs 2-0 last Saturday in the Geluksdal Local Football League which took place at Geluksdal Stadium.
The game proved to be challenging for the Brakpan Spurs lads as they trailed behind Dovola United, who dominated the ball position.
In the first stanza, Dovola United took the game lightly as they missed countless goal opportunities.
Even though their strategy was good, securing goals was a challenge.
After much dribbling and passing, both teams failed to take the lead, ending the first stanza in a 0-0 score.
Going into the second half, Dovola United had a plan of action to ensure they came out victorious.
Dovola’s Sphelele Mapanga didn’t waste any time in scoring what could be called a long-awaited goal.
This goal inspired Dovola players to take their game to another level as they made it impossible for Brakpan Spurs to go near their goalposts.
As the match drew to a close, Dovola United’s Didintle Mali secured yet another goal for his team, which ended the match in a 2-0 win to Dovola United.
