Amajuba wins home game

Tsakane – Amajuba FC of Tsakane took on Kasi Flavour from KwaThema in a semi-final match that was played at the Malandela Ground on Sunday afternoon.

The two sides competed in the Tsakane Easter Soccer Tournament over the weekend and supporters did not disappoint as they filled the ground, to show their support for their favourite teams.

Amajuba proved to be the dominant side as the match began, taking the lead a few minutes into the game with Tebogo Mngomezulu nailing the opening goal.

This proved to be a challenging moment for the opposition as Kasi Flavour were forced to deepen their defence.

However, their attempts failed as Mngomezulu struck gold the second time around in the 20 minutes, helping to extend the home team’s lead.

Kasi Flavour also had their fair share of attempts at goals, but the opposition was not having any of that.

The exhilarating match kept the supporters on their feet, and in a few minutes before the whistle blew for half-time Kgotso Dagane of Amajuba scored the third goal for his side.

In the second half the leading team opted to show off their skills and tactical dribbling styles as they knew that it would take a while for their opponents to catch up.

This got supporters even more excited as they loudly cheered on the players.

Kasi Flavour also gave a better performance in this half, but their attempts at goal did not go well as they missed their shots, which might have helped them equalise.

As the game drew to an end, it seemed as though the second half was going to end without any goals, but the man of the match, Mngomezulu, bagged his last goal of the day, ending the match with a score line of 4-0. This put Amajuba straight into the final round of the tournament.
