RDP trounce Skoomboys

Tsakane – The Tsamaya league games took place in Malandela Grounds in Tsakane where RDP lived up to their winning streak, beating Skoomboys 2-0.

From the first minute, there was no doubt the Tsakane team was in it for victory.

RDP supporters were visible making sure they rooted for their team in what would be a challenging match.

Skoomboys had no build up strategy as they failed to score goals after numerous goal opportunities, whereas RDP utilised every chance right up to the end.

RDP striker, Madoda Mgezana scored the first goal putting them in the lead before the end of the first half.

Going into the second stanza Skoomboys were under pressure to equalise before RDP extended the lead.

But RDP’s defense was too strong, not giving Skoomboys a chance to put the ball behind the net.

After much dribbling and a number of fouls RDP’s Matthews Vilakazi extended the lead.

Vilakazi’s goal changed the momentum of the game – players were faster and more skillful with their passes as the desperation for a win intensified.

After numerous attempts to get goals in, they failed, making RDP the winners of the match.
