This comes after they participated the Ekurhuleni Champ of Champs Tournament that was hosted at Eastgate last Saturday.
Kwatsaduza Netball represented Ekurhuleni East as they competed against Ekurhuleni North, Ekurhuleni Central, Sedibeng and Tshwane.
As their two divisions entered the final round, they competed against Sedibeng, and the younger side won with a 12-9 score while the U/19 team won 15-8.
Mpho Motaung of Kwatsaduza received the best U/19 defender trophy and medal, while Unathi Hollard received a trophy and a medal for being the best U/16 goalkeeper of the tournament.
Coach of the Kwatsaduza Netball teams, Lindi Johnson, says that they are very proud of the way the girls played during this tournament.
“It was not an easy journey preparing for this competition, but the dedication, team spirit and hard work of the girls has really paid off.
“Last year we were the runners-up, but this year we have come out on top, so we hope that the team will continue with the good work,” she says.
