Madonsela’s dream made a reality

Duduza - A generous community member has stepped in to ensure that the dream of a local bodybuilder, Bongani Madonsela, to turn professional, comes true.

This comes after resident John Kekani bought Madonsela a massive muscle supplement, creatine, which helps to supply energy to all the cells in the body, but primarily muscle, and paid for his affiliation fee to part take in the Gauteng North Novice Weight Lifting Show, to be held in Pretoria on April 9.

Kekani, who is making Madonsela’s dream a reality, explains that it is due to his passion for development in sport in his community that he decided to help out.

He emphasises that he was also personally touched and inspired by Madonsela’s story, after having an encounter with him and realising how real his love and passion for the sport are.

“I believe that human beings are all talented, but what separates us, is how we use our talents, because some people even die with their talents unfolded due to not receiving the assistance to push them to realise their dream,” he says.

“As community members we should try to help and support our young people who use their talents, because, through this, they will be able to inspire those who are reluctant to use their gifts.”

The jubilant Madonsela thanks Kekani for his help as, he says, at least he will now be able to compete in April, which has been a big dream, as it will help him to assess his standard before he heads off to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sport Festival, in May.

Madonsela adds that all he has to do now is to ensure he maintains a proper diet which will work well together with the supplements, to give him the muscles he needs to compete.
