Ayoba partners with local business

KwaThema - Local football club Ace Auto Ayoba have partnered with a local funeral home this year.

The newly established funeral home is situated right next to Ayoba’s training ground, in Extension Two, KwaThema, making it sensible for both parties to want to collaborate.

Ayoba’s technical director, Innocent Mayoyo, says this partnership of young brands who will be growing together is a very important factor to ensure community development.

Football in the township needs backing and local business are encouraged to partner with local football clubs to ensure that development of sport happens in the community,” he adds.

“At the development stage we, as football clubs, need assistance so we can make sure that all the necessary needs of aspiring players are met.”

Speaking on behalf of the funeral home, Abi Kgapola says the partnership will enable visibility of both brands at soccer games and ensure that the club has basic needs met, in order to operate.

“We will be taking care of the team’s logistics, refreshments and making sure they have a gazebo when they are playing.

“These are little things that small businesses locally can do to make sure that development happens and football clubs are functional,”he says.

Mayoyo says he looks forward to growing with the funeral home and urges local businesses to do their part in developing future sportsmen and women from the community.
