Verbal Warning are league champs

KwaThema – The Tsamaya Masters League games came to an end last Sunday, when Verbal Warning thrashed City Royals 2-0 at the Tlakula Grounds, last Sunday.

Verbal Warning are the 2015 Tsamaya Masters League Champions, on a record 60 points after beating City Royals.

They break City Royals’ winning streaks after they won the league twice in a row in 2013 and 2014.

The team showed commitment right from the beginning of the season, only losing two games and drew three out of 24 games played.

From the beginning of the match Verbal Warning were in it to win, making sure they didn’t give City Royals a chance to score past them.

Going into the second half the game intensified as City Royals desperately sought for a goal.

Bokang Ngaka of Verbal Warning saw a good opportunity and squeezed a goal past City Royals goalkeeper putting them in the lead.

Moments later, Jabulani “Bothende” Ndela netted another goal just minutes later.

After many attempts to equalise, City Royals lost the league Verbal Warning.

Ndela was also awarded the Dumisani Thusi Player of the Season trophy.
