Etwatwa win against KwaThema
Kwatsaduza - Etwatwa Cricket Club won with three wickets against the KwaThema Cricket Club, in the President League match played at the Springs Pollack Park on Sunday.
KwaThema won the toss and opted to bat first leaving Etwatwa to take on the bowling duties.
The batters bagged 68 runs but the Etwatwa side proved to be too strong and batted their way to a winning 72 runs in just 11 overs.
Mpendulo Duze was the highest scorer for KwaThema with 11 runs, while Pheello Mathebula took two wickets and both Zinhle Gambu and Thulani Mtsweni snatched a wicket each.
Etwatwa Cricket Club’s Thapelo Mokoena scored 15 runs and Moses Mngomezulu took four wickets and scored 11 runs not out. Sbusiso Mavimbela took three wickets whilst Eddie Mogotsi scored 10 runs not out.
