Jealous Down thrash Young Peace Brothers
KwaThema – Last Saturday Jealous Down throttled Young Peace Brothers 6-0 in the U/17 SLFA League game at the KwaThema Sports Complex.
From the first minute of the game Jealous Down showed confidence on the field, dribbling effortlessly past Young Peace Brothers.
During the first half of the game Jealous Down’s Phumlani Yende and Tumelo Luthuli showed off their soccer skills on the pitch securing goals for their teams.
Yende nabbed the first and third goal with Luthuli scoring the second goal.
Young Peace Brothers were put under pressure by their fans to score a goal but Jealous Down proved to be titans as Sibusiso Mayani scored the fourth goal two minutes into the second half.
The frustrated Young Peace Brothers team fought for a goal, but the defense from Jealous Down proved to be too strong for them.
Ready to extend their lead Jealous Down’s Yende and Sibusiso Serene scored the fifth and sixth goal making it impossible for Young Peace Brothers to equalise or draw.
