African All Stars shine
KwaThema – Tsakane’s African All Stars beat KwaThema’s Valencia 1-0 in the ABC Motsepe League game that took place at the KwaThema Stadium last Saturday.
Spectators came in their numbers to support their teams in what they called the ‘clash of the kasis (townships)’.
The two teams are soccer greats in Kwatsaduza and have many supporters.
The African All Stars are sitting second on the log while Valencia is trailing behind in position 15.
None the less, the game was intense from the beginning to the end, as both teams sought to prove to fans that they are the best.
The first half saw no goals being scored as the defence from both sides was substantial.
Going into the second half, the African All Stars showed commitment and eagerness to get goals behind the net, even though Valencia put their all into the defence.
Thomas Kgope, from African All Stars, eventually managed to thump in a goal for the team, ending the game 1-0.
